50/50 Club

 

(e.g. £500 to one winner and £500 to Minerva Juniors funds towards production of our show

in March 2024)

 

Terms and Conditions of the 50/50 Prize Draw are at the bottom of the page.

 

This Prize Draw is open to members of the Minerva Club, their friends and family and

anyone aged 18 or over who wishes to purchase a ticket for the Prize Draw at a cost of £5.

(“Entrants”)

This Promotion for the 2024 show will begin on date (28/01/2024) and ends on whichever of

the following events occurs first.



When 200 numbers have been sold as part of the 50/50 Club promotion

or



On the evening of the final performance of the 2024 show.

To enter the Prize Draw, an Entrant must buy a number in the list of 200 at a cost of £5 and

their name will be listed on a shared webpage against their number for the duration of the

promotion. No other personal information will be displayed on the website however the

Minerva Juniors will retain contact information of all participants so that they can be

contacted in the event that they win the draw. Entrants may enter the draw as often as they

wish as long as the £5 entrance fee is paid.

An entry will not be considered valid until payment has been received for the entry.

Payments may be made by bank transfer to

cash to the Treasurer or a Committee Member.

There will be one (1) winner of the draw and the draw will be conducted within 7 days of the

sale of the 200th number or on the evening of the final performance of the 2024 show

dependent on which of these occurs first

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

The winner will be notified by email and/or phone no later than 14 days after the draw date.

In the unlikely event that a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of

the first attempt, then the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at

random.

 

On the basis that 200 entries will be sold at £5, the prize will be 50% of the Prize Fund (a

total of £500)

If fewer than 200 entries are sold, the prize money will be 50% of the Prize Fund whatever

that sum may be. (We expect to sell all 200 entries.)

The prize money will be provided to the winner by bank transfer.

Entrants consent to their name being made available to participants in the promotion if they

win the Prize.

Details of the winners’ name will be available for a period of one month after the end of the

promotion by sending a Stamped Addressed Envelope to 50/50 CLUB PROMOTION, The

Minerva Club, 59 Burnbank Terrace, Glasgow, G20 6UQ.

The promoters’ decisions are final and binding in respect of all matters relating to the

promotion.

No correspondence will be entered into regarding this promotion except with the winner.

Entrants that do not comply with these terms and conditions (specifically by not having paid

for their number) shall be disqualified.

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound

by them when choosing a 50/50 Club number.

Personal data collected in the course of this promotion will be used for administering the

promotion only.

This promotion and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be

governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law. You irrevocably agree that the

courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises

out of or in connection with this promotion.
